“Islas es una colección de canciones escritas en la isla escocesa de Mull, durante un viaje que hice en agosto 2017 en medio de un año muy pesado a causa de varias complicaciones de salud en la familia y por lo tanto es un álbum muy personal. La isla es un paraíso natural, con casi nadie cerca, sin sonidos urbanos, de transporte o maquinaria, frío y soleado a la vez”. “El tiempo que pasé componiendo en Mull y las islas que la rodean, se volvió en mi refugio, lejos de los deberes y las preocupaciones típicas de ser padre. La música que salió representó un escape, pero más que eso, se convirtió en un reencuentro con un espacio interior donde todo siempre está bien. El proceso de composición me proveyó de una ruta hacia la calma y algo mas inexplicable. Ahí se mezclaron los sonidos e influencias representativas de lo mejor de mis dos mundos geográficos, el UK y México… Es esa es la esencia de estas canciones”.

"Islas is a collection of songs written on the Scottish island of Mull, during a trip I made in August 2017 in the middle of a very heavy year because of several health complications in the family and therefore it is a very personal album. The island is a natural paradise, with almost nobody nearby, without urban sounds, transport or machinery, cold and sunny at the same time ".
"The time that I spent composing in Mull and the islands that surround it, became my refuge, far from the duties and typical worries of being a father. The music that came out represented an escape, but more than that, it became a reunion with an interior space where everything is always good. The process of composition gave me a path to calmness and something more inexplicable. There they mixed the sounds and influences representative of the best of my two geographical worlds, the UK and Mexico ... That is the essence of these songs ".
