Lucas Page's extensive career on sound design has lead him to become interested by the textures, colors and the narrative possibilities of sound and music. Previously he has released 3 albums with the experimental project moji moji, “Detroit de le Maire” (2010), “N” (2011) y “Toda esta naturaleza es impredecible” (2012), released on cd. by international labels from Germany and Spain.
In 2017 released his first album as GUAZÚ with Shika Shika label from Germany.
GUAZÚ’s self-titled first release takes us on a voyage across the soundscapes and landscapes of Latin America, from humid rainforests, to wide plains, from the Andes mountain range to sprawling cities. The release opens with the mysterious and dubby “Guazú” before delving into a rhythmic journey painted with marimbas, bombo legüeros, warm guitars, kalimbas and birdsong but always centred around the rich percussive legacy of Latin America.
