"Kikasaru" is a eight song compilation selected from the very beginning Poupa Honk publications, which were borned in a home studio and they represent the period prior to its live performance.
For this occasion, he remixed some old songs like "The great dog", "The loose parts of us" and "Plastic motocycle" (renamed "Kikasaru") trying to preserve the original energy: oscilating from colorful and deep downtempo dub to folk melodies and digital environments.

So this month for me Folcore came and did it properly, and I know personally that next month they have plenty of other surprises.
So this track -Poupa Honk, The Great Dog- is by a producer I didn’t know before, which really interested me because he has come through with a whole album of various beats. I love strings and kicks so you will understand why I chose this one to present this album. — Generation Bass
Philippe Dunant, aka Poupa Honk began studying clarinet with a teacher who kept trying to decipher scores. But this classic approach to music only keep him away from theory and take him to explore improvisation and self-learning. In the late 90s, he swap his clarinet for a saxophone and joined Gingalas, a Swiss ska-dub band. Years later he swap again saxophone to electronic music, because in the theatre where he works as a lighting technician...
